Compassionate Expertise
Meet Dr. Abby Jewell
Dr. Jewell is a Lee's Summit West graduate. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama, and later her DDS from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. She completed residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She successfully completed the American Board of Orthodontics exam allowing her the honor of being a Board-Certified Orthodontist.
Her extensive training in traditional orthodontics, cleft lip/palate and craniofacial orthodontics has led her to opening her own practice to provide customized patient care to every individual that walks through the doors. She values genuine connection with her patients, giving them her full attention at each appointment and ensuring no questions or concerns go unanswered.
Dr. Jewell is not only an orthodontist, but also a mom of two and a wife. When she’s not in the office, Dr. Jewell is on the go whether it is traveling with her family or cheering on any one of the Kansas City sports teams. She is so excited to have the opportunity to be a part of your orthodontic journey.

What to Expect
Your First Visit
As you walk into our office, you’ll be greeted by the smiling faces of our friendly team and the comforting amenities of our modern and bright office. We’ll answer any insurance-related questions you may have to make your appointment as seamless as possible.
After checking in, you’ll get a tour of the office and receive a comprehensive orthodontic consultation, complete with x-rays, photos, and a 3D scan of your teeth. Dr. Jewell and her team will always spend the extra time to address your concerns and discuss the state of your dental health with you before outlining a unique treatment plan tailored to your needs.
WHAT TO BRING
To make sure your first visit goes as smoothly as possible, be sure to bring the following items to your appointment:
- Photo ID
- Insurance Card (if using) and/or Form of Payment
- Completed New Patient Forms
- Questions
